I'm still here..

I haven't been blogging much - yeah duh, can you tell? and it's not because I don't have anything to say. I have too much to say - we are a few days away from deployment, and it's starting to really sink in.

It's not just the trunk in the living room, and buying supplies, and talking about finances... it's the sinking feeling. I've been avoiding it - really truly pretending it's not happening. But it is. and I can't get it out, I can't talk yet.

So put up with me, those few who still read this blog. I'll be babbling again soon.

I have nothing happy to offer, but do know that I'll be thinking of you. Sinking feeling indeed.

I understand and I am here for you... don't worry about us, spend your time with your hubby and there will be plenty of time to talk. Just remember to breathe and know that everything is going to be fine... and we will get through this together.
Best,
Tucker

Yeah, those last few days and weeks before a deployment suck a LOT. You know I'm thinking of you - and Tucker, and Bette, and NEE, and Snarky, and Army Wife... and everyone else who's currently in the deployment crapfest. *hug* Someday this will all be over, I hope.

Don't feel pressured to write a blog on our behalf, just spend these last moments you have w/your husband. When your ready, we'll be here to read, and be supportive of you. Your in my thoughts, and good luck w/everything!

I agree with Sara...we're here waiting.

Spend time with your family now, and we're here to support you whenever you need us.

Spend as much time as you need with family. On the day of, we actually woke up 2 and a half hours early so we could just lounge around with the little one awake. We didn't do much but stayed on the couch, but it was definitely nice and worth it.. :) ::HUGS::

don't worry. I'm a "silent" reader and 5 weeks into the deployment again. Remember the last few days just as yesterday.

No need to explain. Those few days before D-day are the hardest. Spend as much time as you need OFF line and enjoy every second of the hubbs!!

LAW, hope you're muddling through. We're here for you.

I know how that is. We're here for you when you need us. I'll be thinking of you both.

Hey. I haven't been here since Nov. but I'll stop in again soon and see how things are. This time sucks--I'm sorry.
