My AA affords me a starting salary of $50,000-$60,000. Last year I made 75K. A ultrasound technologist makes between $45.00-$65.00 hourly, many community colleges offer this degree. I am thinking a two year degree is okay sometimes.
I have an AS and 20 years as a paralegal and made close to 70K.. that's NOT the point. the point is that the promise was made, and for those IN the program, they are getting the shaft!
Some two-year programs are definitely worth it, as mentioned above. But I hate being limited to that. Wait- i'm not. My husband is an E6. We just got married and I don't have my degree yet. I should be exactly the kind of spouse they want to help, but because I didn't meant Husband sooner I'm locked out. This just sucks.
I'm a liberal Army Wife, mother and Grandma, Democrat, and being a liberal made me a rarity amongst the National Guard wives of my aquaintance! Let's see how it goes now that we are in the Big A Army.
